The Show :

One summer evening in a village in the Atlas. In the wake of a party card which turns short, a young man was forced to leave the village. He left for the city, where he finds himself caught in the undertow of individual and collective lives, for which his experience is a little baggage. In a meeting to another, it's a country that appears, in the complexity of a history between noise and silence.

Note of intent

If we chose for our history to keep a classically Moroccan structure is that it seemed present, in symptomatic, one of the key issues that addressed the Moroccan culture: how two worlds coexist? The village, on the one hand, where everything has its place, or, more accurately, it's the place where everyone holds that it is identity and that of the city, on the other hand, where zero place nor identity is a foregone conclusion. So, this young man's quest is coupled she almost without his knowledge, a quest for identity, which is that of modernity.

However, if we chose to focus primarily on the establishment of a plot full of emotions and excitement, it seemed essential that our show, despite the complex issues it proposes to address, can be seen and appreciated by the general public.

Artistic Note

We started working from improvisations. This meant, first, to create a framework and aesthetic imagination, which were born sequences that have formed this show. Various cinematographic works, artistic and literary material was used in the preparation of the framework. But as our show is to Moroccan society, but also in the observation of the latter that the actors have drawn the matter gesture, situations and characters that we were needed. We then worked with the actors on a drama for the action: how to stage action and speech (rather than a text beforehand), meaning and the story are born?
Through the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and Entertainment Cultural Rabat, we met many actors.
The artistic team is now composed of four Moroccan actors and two french actors and a director.
