Jean Baptiste Demarigny
Jean-Baptiste Demarigny, French-Greek stage director , was born in 1977.
After studying philosophy at the Sorbonne that will lead him to teach one year in high school, he left teaching in 2002 to join the Conservatoire National de Region de Montpellier, headed by Ariel Garçia-Valdès, where he will be deeply influenced by the Christophe Rauck teaching . He founded the Biladi Rolling Theatre company with which he creates his first productions.
In 2006, he moved to Morocco for the first edition of the roving theatre project: Theatre around the Mediterranean Sea.
Thanks to the support of the Cooperation and Cultural Action Service (SCAC) of the embassy, he writes and directs ''Until the snow falls'', the first professional performance of the company, with young Moroccan actors.
They will start to attract new public and run the show in many cities of Moroccan territory until June 2007. Because of his preoccupations on the approximation of civilizations, he will be invited by Jose Monleon (founder of the International Mediterranean Theatre Institute) to participate in a conference on dialogue among cultures.
While preparing the second edition of Theatre around the Mediterranean Sea, he was invited in 2008 in an artist residency by the Spanish company Karlik Danza Teatro. there he directs For Bread alone of Mohamed Choukri.
Fatima Mhaireg
Fatima Mhaireg, Moroccan actress, was born in 1980 in Marrakech.
She was studying economiy before joining in 2002 the Institute of Dramatic Arts (ISADAC) in Rabat. She received training as an actress with Moroccan and foreign artists (Smail Smouni, Cristina Silveira, Vladimir Granov, Bruce Myers, Yoshi Oida ...) and plays in numerous shows (TaxiGénérik Steam, ' 'Untitled''Lorca, my ... Roberto Cerda), which sometimes lead her out of Morocco.
It will be rewarded in 2006 for his role of the daughter in the play Goodnight mother by Masha Norman.
In 2006 she met Jean-Baptiste Demarigny and participates in the show ''Until the snow falls''. She became associate artist of the company Biladi Rolling Theatre.
She will be invited by Jose Monleon (founder of the International Theatre Institute Mediterranean ) to take part in several conferences on the issue of dialogue between East and West. She writes for the magazine Spanish Primer Acto.
In 2008 she will be invited to establish residency in Caceres (Spain), where she interprets the Pain''''Nu Mohamed Choukri that his own company, ISSIL , co-produced.
